  1. Diesel tanks - OPTIONAL

As part of preparations to cross Atlantic (ARC 2016) I ordered special “PVC-plastic” diesel tanks – volume 2 x 70L = 140 L of diesel. They are mounted on decks – in the original place dedicated by Beneteau for the liferaft. Using gravity hose one can transfer easily fuel tio the main tanks. Besides this tanks can be used as deck-table. Optional.

  1. Emergency steering system:

There is a SS 316e unique cinstruction emergency rudder/steering system stored in the bow storage. Blade SS + foam :160 x 50cm floatable+ vertical SS stock + 200cm SS rudder, adjustable + steering elements – secure the emergency situation of “rudder loss”. This happens quite often in the Atlantic, so its always good to have onboard ! Custom made, dimensioned individually for the Boat.Optional

  1. Replaced brand new autopilot hydraulic pump: LECOMBE- SCHMITT ( original French part, October 2016 Las Palmas).

The Boat is a beautiful and fully equipped Beneteau 50 built in 2002, VAT EU tax paid in Scotland in 2002. She has had 4 owners from new, and fantastic sailing track record including a “SOLO AROUND SCOTLAND” in 2006 and very successful ATLANTIC CIRCUIT in 2008. In 2010 she was fully upgraded by the owner to sail “back home” from UK  to New Zealand via Panama – this plan collapsed due to family circumstances.
I bought her in Portimao Marina Portugal in October 2010 – and felt in love from the first sight. She crossed the Med in May-June 2011 to Kos Marina in Greece. This is her berthing place until today.
Her sailing performance is excellent, being one of the few Beneteau 50’s to be fitted with the performance rig option – a taller SPARCRAFT triple  spreader rig with a fully battened mainsail with HARKEN car system. She also has the deeper keel and an excellent sail wardrobe – for light and very strong winds.
The Boat comes with everything you could ever need for cruising and has been professionally maintained through her life. She is in stunning condition and is loaded with all toys and/or extras needed for blue water cruising.
The Insurance Policy of Panteanius Hamburg is for the hull EURO 186.700,00 (valid until 4 March 2018)
